to The Tidewater School, a place where children experience enthusiastic
learning in an environment that respects each child within a community

understanding provides for smooth communication as we work together
as a team for each child.

know that you will experience a dedicated staff, an enriching
environment, a safe place, and an affirmation of the value and
work of the young child through the elementary childhood years. As
we move into our 21st year, we are excited and proud about our
identity as the only school in Southern Maryland that offers a
totally individualized and developmentally respectful curriculum
for each child.
As
the dynamic team for this well researched education model, the
staff is constantly assessing its own strengths and weaknesses,
attending seminars, taking courses, and providing enrichment for
one another and our parents. Our connection with one another
to help children is made strong with the efforts of all.

Tidewater School by the Sea is fully certified by the Maryland State Department
of Education We are a private not-for-profit educational corporation
providing instruction for Preschool through elementary. Currently we are accepting 2008-2009 enrollment for Preschool through Grade 5.
The
